Staying at Rye Lodge Hotel is a truly enjoyable experience at any time of the year. The surroundings are elegant and comfortable, the food delicious, the atmosphere relaxed - and the service second to none!

The hotel occupies what many feel is the finest location in this lovely medieval Cinque Port town. Perched upon the East Cliff, with panoramic views across the estuary and the Romney Marhes, yet close to the High Street with its quaint antique shops, art galleries, tea rooms, pubs and fine restaurants and 'within a stone’s throw' of the Landgate, an ancient monument built in 1326 as one of the entrances to the town and still standing to this day but a few steps from Rye Lodge. The whole town within the Citadel is a conservation area and designated as of historical interest.

The hotel prides itself on providing unparalleled comfort and hospitality in beautiful surroundings, ensuring that all guests will feel pampered and indulged. The hotel's elegant interiors have been personally designed by Kerry de Courcy and from the standard through to deluxe bedrooms, each has an individual character with tasteful, relaxing colour schemes and opulent fabrics.

Within the hotel, the Venetian Leisure Centre, with its swimming pool, spa bath, sauna, and aromatherapy steam cabinet, is reserved for the exclusive use of guests. This luxurious facility is sure to relax even the most stressed of individuals.

To help further the relaxation of guests, the hotel boasts an excellent wine cellar providing an expansive range of quality wines.  In good weather, it is most pleasant to sit on the terrace during the day, and after dinner enjoy your coffee and brandy or liqueur upon the balcony above the terrace garden.

Come the evening, guests may dine by candlelight, in the elegant marble floored Terrace Room Restaurant overlooking the terrace and the estuary. The food is made using the finest ingredients and the menu is diverse and perfectly executed. The service is efficient, friendly and uncommonly attentive. The whole atmosphere is quite delightful and you may be sure that your evening will be thoroughly enjoyable.
