At the Northcote Manor Hotel, nestled in the heart of beautiful North Devon countryside life can be conducted at a slower, more relaxing pace. The whole atmosphere at Northcote Manor is of timeless tranquility. Twenty acres of mature woodlands, lawns and gardens, including an outstanding view over the Taw River Valley, set the scene for healthy relaxation and gentle leisure.
The hotel’s head grounds-man has worked hard to reinstate a beautiful Victorian Water Garden which lies at the bottom of the gently sloping walled garden and is backed by beautiful hills often dotted with sheep and lambs. Whilst the water garden is the perfect place to unwind with a refreshing drink on a long summer afternoon or enjoy the view from our landscaped sun terrace.
With a menu comprising crisp flaky rich tartlets, freshly prepared tender melt in the mouth North Devon beef, sumptuous mellow quivering pannacotta with seasonal berries accompanied by a recommended bottle of delicious wine finished with hot brewed ground coffee: all served in the intimate restaurant or sunny slate roof conservatory, there is no better day to round off the day.
