Peppers has fifteen beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own character and décor - all offering chic elegance with a continental flavour. Each of the bedrooms benefits from full en suite facilities and have televisions with Freeview boxes as well as excellent wireless signals.
Dining at Peppers is taken in the exciting 'Peppers' restaurant which is incredibly popular with residents and locals alike. ´Peppers´ has a Mediterranean theme and includes innovative freshly made pasta dishes and pizzas baked in an authentic Italian stone based pizza oven. An exquisite range of other dishes such as rib eye and fillet steaks, succulent lamb & juicy chicken, as well as fish specials, are also available. The stunningly fresh décor features back-lit classic murals and original photography and artwork.
Deddington is a village steeped in history dating back to an early settlement in the 6th or 7th century. Soon after the Norman Conquest Deddington castle was commissioned by Bishop Odo of Bayeaux (half brother to King William I). The vallum and earthworks of this castle can still be seen today at the castle grounds. In the 17th century during the civil war after The Battle of Cropredy which the Royalists just about won, King Charles I stayed at the Castle House and Piers Gaveston was imprisoned there. Today Deddington is the only parish in all England to be granted its own Coat of Arms (1994), and this can be seen on the wall of the Town Hall in the centre of the market place.
