This fine owner-run Hotel sits imperiously overlooking Loch Etive set back on the A85. It is approximately 5 miles before Oban and 90 miles north-west of Glasgow or Edinburgh. The main Hotel was built in 1886, the modern extension was added in the 70's. The Hotel is beautifully appointed with a comfortable lounge and Dining room. Relax in the super Cocktail bar with open log fire, there are over hundred brands of whisky to tempt you before or after a meal in our attractive and relaxed Bistro with its extensive a la carte menu. There is a pleasant 2 acre lochside garden across the road with a slipway which is suitable for launching small boats. Off road parking for 40 cars adjoins the Hotel.
Accommodation is available within thirty rooms, all with private bathrooms. Each of these delightfully appointed rooms include full facilities such as hair dryers, trouser presses, complimentary hospitality tray, central heating, colour televisions, radio, direct dial telephones incorporating a baby listening facility.
Dining here is an absolute treat, being taken in the Bistro where the hotel's Scottish Chefs make use of the finest local produce to create an interesting and varied menu. With approximately fifteen starters and twenty main courses plus a large daily 'specials' board - there is something to suit everyone and every taste! To complement your meal, you can choose from an extensive wine list or from the 'specials' board with excellent value wine for under £6.00 a bottle! After dinner guests can relax in the hotel's unique Cocktail Bar with an open log fire and a selection of over hundred malt whiskies to tempt you!
