The Watersplash Hotel is located in Brockenhurst, a New Forest village surrounded by open forest with its own busy community - shops, pubs and amenities. With extensive refurbishment during 2007, you will find accommodation at The Watersplash is of a very high order. Public rooms are spacious and attractively furnished while every one of the twenty three bedrooms has a private bathroom en suite, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities and direct dial telephone. Two beautiful four-poster rooms are available, including The Colonial four-poster suite which also features a magnificent double jacuzzi bath, for that special occasion.
Dining here is sublime, with the restaurant looking out onto the front lawn and gardens, the perfect venue for that quiet dinner for two. The Watersplash Hotel is fortunate to have Mike Reading as Chef. He is an excellent, experienced modern Chef with traditional high standards. Mike is a real character and his food is legendary in the New Forest. Start the day with a sumptuous freshly cooked full english breakfast followed by an optional light lunch, afternoon cream tea and then dinner. The hotel takes pride in being able to say that all dishes are prepared using fresh local produce or produced by local suppliers especially for the restaurant. If you require something very special please ask well in advance and Chef will endeavor to arrange this for you.
The New Forest National Park provides a range of leisure pursuits from forest walks to cycling and more. Other leisure activities within the Brockenhurst area include golf and horseriding. Given the proximatey of the south coast of England, it is recommended that you explore some of the local beaches and coastal walks.
Brockenhurst is served by the main British Rail Waterloo to Weymouth line (75 minutes), and guests arriving by train can be collected from Brockenhurst station by prior arrangement - simply contact the hotel to make arrangements.
