Located in Upper Teesdale, an area which presents the very best of the English countryside and wildscapes. The Teesdale Hotel is ideally located for exploring the heather-clad moorlands and dramatic natural phenomenon of the area, such as High Force (England's largest waterfall) and Cauldron Snout (England's largest cascade).
The restaurant at The Teesdale Hotel is locally renowned for it’s fantastic home-cooked food served in the elegant dining room and of equal repute is the cozy bar with open log fire, real ales and an exceptional selection of wines.
This region has so much to offer. Obviously it is excellent walking country, with the famous Pennine Way passing along it's heart - but there are a multitude of exceptional rambles of varying lengths alongside opportunities for an abundance of outdoor pursuits.
