Set within in five acres of delightful gardens and natural landscaping The New Bath Hotel is a three star Regency styled country hotel built in 1802 and sits in a most perfect position overlooking the Derwent Gorge on the borders of the Peak District National Park.
The hotel houses an 18th century spa, fed by natural mineral springs from deep underground; the health-giving properties of the spring have been renowned since antiquity, making it a honey pot area for spa enthusiasts. The hot springs pour out waters that are rich in minerals and that cure a variety of ailments. The water is precious because of its purity and its content allowing you to enjoy its therapeutic benefits in natural surroundings, free from any hint of pollution. This truly is a great place to relax and leave behind the stresses of day modern life.
Accommodation is offered in a variety of comfortably spacious and individually designed en suite bedrooms, many of which enjoy excellent views overlooking the thermally heated outdoor swimming pool and Derwent Gorge. Dinner here is taken in the elegant Lamp and Seam Restaurant where a fantastic variety of mouth-watering contemporary British Fayre is always on the menu – all carefully created and served under the watchful eye of the hotel’s chefs.
