All the rooms have been decorated to highlight and reflect their own architecture. Although the same high standard of facilities are available throughout, no two rooms are the alike and each have something special – whether it’s sweeping views over the countryside, or a stunning four poster bed, or an alcove where you can curl up with a book. With exquisite soft furnishings and tasteful décor you have everything you need for comfortable and relaxing stay.
The hotel has both a traditional Bistro restaurant and an award-winning 2AA rosette restaurant. Using only the best of local and seasonal ingredients, the hotel offers a modern Scottish menu with a flair for fine dining. The bar has a selection of 80 single malt whiskies. The Osprey Bistro offers an excellent choice of dishes in a relaxed and lively atmosphere. The staff serve coffee and drinks all day and offer over 40 Single Malt Whiskies and a fabulous selection of international wines.
The Capercaillie Restaurant is a fine dining experience and has received 2AA Rosette Award every year since 1999. The Restaurant is discreetly stylish, with an intimate and peaceful atmosphere. The cuisine is prepared with a contemporary twist. The menu changes every month with a selection of the finest ingredients being put together by chef John Dale, a seven course tasting menu is also available. The traditions of Scottish cooking using fresh local produce in a modern style. (The Restaurant is opened from 7 pm to 9 pm. but opening times may vary during the quieter winter months.)
