The ancient town of Market Harborough is centrally situated in an attractive rural and historic area of the East Midlands and has a well preserved town centre with a number of medieval and Georgian buildings one of which is The Angel Hotel. Although the hotel has changed with the times, it still retains its historic air.
Originally an old coaching inn, it dates back to certainly the 16th Century and it is said that Royalty stayed here before commencing local battles.
