This luxurious Skeabost Country House Hotel is located in private grounds on the edge of Loch Snizort, originally built as a hunting lodge by the MacDonald’s, it is steeped in history and has an enchanting period feel flattered by roaring open fires.

Skeabost Country House owns the fishing rights to the first eight miles of the River Snizort, a typical Highland spate river. The river challenges every angler and its Gillie is on hand to guide all anglers, both experienced or novice.
While at Skeabost, you will want to consider a visit to Dunvegan Castle, a fortress stronghold in an idyllic loch-side setting is surrounded by dramatic scenery. For whisky enthusiasts, the Talisker Distillery is the only distillery on the Misty Isle where you can see distillers at work, creating the Talisker single malt. For the more adventurous, Whiteware Skye’s outdoor centre offers Kayaking, Canoeing, Climbing, Walking, Archery and Windsurfing.
