The Riverside Hotel in Mildenhall nestles alongside the banks of the River Lark, and is between the home of British Horse Racing at Newmarket and the Historic town of Bury St Edmunds. Originally built around 1720, the hotel has been recently renovated to become one of East Anglia's leading country house hotels with a well-deserved reputation for elegance, charm and sophistication. Greeted by traditional roaring fires, guests will find a warm and friendly atmosphere complemented by the highest levels of professional service in luxurious surroundings.

Accommodation here is presented in a selection of twenty-two individually appointed bedrooms; all are fully en-suite and provide comfortable accommodation for any length of stay. In room facilities include; wake up service/alarm clock, telephone, work desk, ironing facilities, TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee maker.

The elegant Terrace Restaurant features an inventive menu of worldwide cuisine and popular classics, all individually prepared by the hotel’s team of international chefs and is perfect for an intimate dinner. For less formal dining, guests can enjoy their meals al fresco in the Terrace Bar which overlooks the well-kept gardens and enjoys views down to the river. Both locations are well served by the hotel’s extensive wine cellar that offers a selection of quality wines to complement every meal.

The surrounding area offers many places of interest both historical and recreational. Mildenhall is five miles north-west of the town of Bury St. Edmunds and within a short drive of the city of Cambridge. The town centres around the market place with its 16th century hexagonal market cross and town pump; the town's market is held here on every Friday and originated as a weekly chartered market in medieval times (since the 15th century it is believed). The Mildenhall Museum in the centre of the town contains displays of times past, the local wildlife, the history of the RAF base from its opening in 1934, and information on the Mildenhall Treasure.

Mildenhall is perhaps most famous for the discovery in 1943 of the Mildenhall Treasure. Now at the British Museum, the copy of the treasure is a hoard of Roman silver objects buried in the 4th century. The region between Devil's Dyke and the line between Littleport and Shippea Hill shows a remarkable amount of archaeological findings of the Stone Age, the Bronze Age and the Iron Age.
