Ty Mawr Hotel is a quiet Carmarthenshire hotel situated in the small village of Brechfa. Ideal as a base to explore the gardens of carmarthenshire or to use as a relaxing bed and breakfast for a short break.

The hotel building is listed and dates back to the 15th Century. Ty Mawr Hotel has historical connections that go back to the 1839 Rebecca Riots of West Wales. Previously a farmhouse, the building was tastefully renovated over 30 years ago and many of the buildings original features still remain.
This intimate country hideaway, has everything you would expect from a property dating from the 15th Century with thick stone walls, low ceilings, open fires, tiled floors and old wooden beams.
When it comes to dining, the emphasis is definitely on local and whenever possible organic ingredients either sourced from Carmarthenshire or within the South West Wales region.
Ty Mawr has a growing reputation for its exceptional food, not least because the restaurant features seasonal ingredients to produce a daily-changing menu.
