The Grange Hotel is a most attractive Tudor style country house hotel, which has been family run for three generations. Accommodation is presented in a superb collection of fifteen, fully en-suite bedrooms, all of which have been individually decorated to the provide guests with the highest standards of decor and ambience. To further ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible, extra care and attention has been taken to provide a range of amenities that you would expect from a hotel of this quality, including; direct dial telephones, televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers and also trouser-presses if requested.
Pre and post dinner drinks can be taken in the comfort of The Lounge Bar which opens on to the Terrace and Garden and serves an excellent range of fine beers and all the usual beverages. When it is time to dine, The Grange has a team of five, highly professional chefs who meticulously prepare a delicious menu of exquisite dishes using, wherever possible, local produce and ingredients for the Garden Restaurant and the more formal Adam Room. Both of these restaurants offer superb a la carte lunches and dinners which are perfectly complemented by an extensive selection of wines from their award winning list. In addition to the weekday menu, guests can also enjoy the delights of a Traditional Roast Lunch which is served on Sundays.
Apart from simply enjoying the comfort and ambience that the hotel offers, its location offers guests a host of leisure and recreational activities all of which are within easy reach. Newmarket racecourse, known as the 'HQ of horse racing' is only twenty minutes away and punting along the River Cam in Cambridge just a further twenty minute journey. The thriving market town of Bury St Edmunds with its historic Abbey Gardens is only four miles away, here guests can enjoy a delightful town with a wealth of attractions and historic buildings including the Moyse's Hall and Manor House Museums.
