Fishmore Hall, a privately-owned, boutique country house hotel, sits imperiously overlooking the charming town of Ludlow offering guests unrivalled views over the stunning Shropshire ladscapes. Ideally located in peaceful countryside, yet close to the A49, this period property is the perfect place for a long lazy weekend break or mid week stay to discover this beautiful and fascinating county. The highest levels of quality, service and amenities in combination with superbly created and exquisite cuisine, provides guests with a truly memorable experience that will linger long after departure

Inside this elegant, delightfully restored Georgian house, accommodation is presented in fifteen gloriously sumptuous bedrooms and designer bathrooms.

Each of Fishmore Hall’s sumptuous bedrooms has been individually styled to afford guests the height of luxury and comfort. Light and spacious, most rooms enjoy views through huge sash windows across Ludlow and Shropshire's rolling countryside. The beds are deliciously wide, with crisp linen sheets to slip into, and you can even choose your favourite pillow from a pillow menu so rest assured, you are guaranteed a great night’s sleep. Every bathroom is a delight in itself, with huge walk-in showers, double-ended baths, wetrooms and waterfall shower heads, delicious Molton Brown toiletries and the thickest, fluffiest bathrobes and slippers to relax in. Often overlooked, it is the finishing touches that can make your stay memorable and they haven’t been forgotten here, with a host of amenities that include flat screen TVs with freeview, free wi-fi and wired broadband and proper coffee and teas from Cafe du Monde and Ronnefeldt and homemade biscuits from the chef.

For your further convenience, Fishmore Hall has a lift to both floors - with the ground floor suite being specially designed to suit less able guests with wide doorways and spacious shower room.

When it is time to dine, there can be few views to rival the one from the hotel’s restaurant: through large French windows, or from the terrace on warm days, you can look out over lush green fields towards Clee Hill and the Shropshire landscape. This is the domain of Marc Hardiman, one of the country’s most exciting new chefs. Gordon Ramsay Scholarship finalist, Marc's verve and originality shine through in his superb Shropshire tasting menu, his passion being showcased in the innovative way he combines the flavours and textures of ingredients sourced exclusively from the very best local producers across the Shropshire Marches.

Shropshire is dotted with historic market towns and quaint villages, the prettiest of all being Ludlow laid out in the valley beneath the hotel. Famous for its food festival, fascinating shops and historic castle, Ludlow is the perfect starting point to discovering this unspoilt county. The area abounds with a host of recreational activities and sightseeing opportunities to suit every taste: from country walks to golf,  shopping to crafts, fishing to horse riding,  fine historic houses to ruined Norman Castles - all within close proximity of the hotel.
