Imagine the perfect country break… whether it’s wellies, long walks and log fires, mooching around galleries or the luxury and indulgence of champagne in the bath... you have just imagined Felbrigg Lodge!
Beautifully located adjoining the southern boundary of Felbrigg Hall, a 17th century country house and estate owned by the National Trust, Felbrigg Lodge enjoys an unrivalled position, surrounded by seven acres of grounds allowing for total privacy and seclusion and offering luxury accommodation within a truly unique, tranquil rural setting.
Felbrigg Lodge is owned by Dee Dee and Philip Lomax; both programmed to spoil you and ensure your stay in North Norfolk is a memorable one. The couple has been looking after people for almost thirty years so they really understand what makes for a fantastic break.
Accommodation here is presented a series of beautiful and intimate suites, filled with personal touches and thoughtful details – ideal for either business or pleasure. The rooms, which are all at ground level and are situated around the grounds to take greatest advantage of the views and landscape, preserve a sense of peace and tranquility. All have been sumptuously furnished and decorated with flair and imagination and have luxurious en-suite bathrooms.
Here you can spoil yourselves with traditional afternoon tea (sandwiches homemade scones and individual cakes) served in your suite and later book to eat in the restaurant where, if you are looking for somewhere presumptious you will not be happy here.
Dining here is sublime and taken in the Lodge’s Ivy Restaurant - intimate and friendly, it’s been likened to the Dining Car on the Orient Express! While the proprietors can’t quite organise an ever-changing view from the window, the leafy setting is truly magical. All dishes are home cooked with a daily changing menu and is freshly prepared using only the best and freshest local fare.
